The Boston Celtics have signed Chris Boucher to a one-year, $3.3 million deal, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.
Boucher’s contract with Boston is fully guaranteed.
Boucher was the last remaining player from the Toronto Raptors’ 2019 championship roster. He spent seven of his first eight NBA seasons with Toronto and averaged 10.0 points and 4.5 rebounds, shooting 49.2% from the field in 50 games last season.
He’s likely to have a significant role in the Celtics’ frontcourt as Jayson Tatum continues to rehab from his torn Achilles.
